i have a 3.40 psp. well the thing is that it won't read umd's , i brings up an error "the disc could no be read".
But if I turn off the psp and turn it on again it will read it and everything would be alright unless i switch the game and have to reset it again and so on.
well that's been mys rtory lately
my question is, someone has the same problem i deal with it because i only play one game until i finish tah;s it so i deal with it.
but does anynoe has the same problem should i better use my warranty

If it's official firmware I say take it back use your warranty and get a new one hopefully with lower firmware.

If it's Custom FW maybe bad flash or something? Check your settings in recovery see if all looks ok. Dunno?
