I am an absolute novice, so please be patient!
I bought a PSP in Korea and I'm not sure what the firmware is. The dude who sold it to me didn't speak much English but he sold me a PSP with games that run from the memory stick. On the system information it says 3.30EAR+, so I don't know what he did with the machine.
I just want to know what I've purchased, so I can get into modding.
Is the 3.30EAR+ firmware he installed, or did he leave the firmware intact? Any ideas?

the psp u described is completely homebrew/xmb customization compatible and i beleive u misread it and it's in fact 3.30oe-a

No, I checked again and it definitely says 3.30EAR+

Which is prolly custom firmware. Never heard of it, though if it runs games (more than just demos) than its prolly custom firmware.
