memory card exploit question

I have The original HD loader I wanted to upgrade so that I can use a bigger hard drive. I found the memory card exploit and was wondering would this allow me to use the 500g hard drives that the HD loader 3.08b can?

On a side note I need the HD loader disc to run the HD loader program. In light of that. How does the memory card exploit work? Would I need to put in PS1 disc now? can I use the HD loader disc I have? Or do I even need a disc with the memory card exploit?

ah, ok then. Why not look on exploitstation.com where you can most likley find information. Or even do a Google search. I am on here about every day, except weekends and it is why i never saw this. Once it gets off the first page it is gone so you have to add a comment to bump it back up.
