I was wondering if it is possible to have 1.50 FW and a higher one. What I mean is is it posssible to run homebrew and still have the latest stuff on psp. I curently have firmware 3.30 (and I'm waiting patiently for the downgrader ;) )

That is what custom firmware is. It combines 1.50 and whichever firmware you upgrade to together so you can use the features of both firmwares. But yeah your stuck waiting for a downgrader unless your willing to purchase a new motherboard or a mod chip.
