Civilization III v1.29f. I cannot seem to clone this game for anything and have ruined 5 Taiyo Yuden discs already. I have followed these instructions

to the letter to no avail. Seems SecuROM is the cp here but the disc simply won't boot up. I've used both my cd burners which are an Aopen com5232/AAHPro and a Samsung TS-H552B but can't get anything. I used the software recommended on that linked page. Any ideas?

Have you tried CloneCD or PowerISO?

I think I used CloneCD made copy which needs a CD to play, but the burned copy works fine.

Yes I've used clonecd and Alcohol 120 and I've pretty much given up after 7 coasters.
