Media for the Plextor 708A

I just bought the Plextor 708A and since it supports the -R and +R format in various speeds what is the best and fastest media for this drive??

My previous burner is a Toshiba SDR-5002 which was a 2x -R burner only, so I dont have any experience with the +R media.

I have a Apex home dvd player so the compatibility between the -R and +R shouldnt be a problem.
