TOSHIBA - 200GB 2.5" SATA LAPTOP HARD DRIVE.

CAPACITY - 200GB

SPEED - 4200RPM

PHYSICAL SIZE - 9.5MM



is this ok to go into the ps3 or is the speed to low?

For one it is a labtop HDD so it probably wouldn't go in right. And it is slow as heck.

Just get a USB HDD if your just planning on wanting more storage.

The PS3 uses 2.5" (laptop) hardrives. However, I think 5400 rpm would be more suitable, since that is the speed of the one that comes with it.

Um...that's what the PS3 uses.

The drive I bought was a 120 GB by seagate. I think it was 5400 RPM, maybe even faster. I don't even remember. I do know, though, that I've had no complaints about the speed of the drive nor do I have any complaints about the size of the HDD> It's been great!
