Windows MCE 2005 Re-Install Help

Hey guys, my friend is selling his computer, so I formatted the hard drive and re-installed Windows MCE 2005 onto the computer. I then went in to change the serial key to the key on the side of his machine, and it wouldn't let me. I do not have the recovery discs or anything else, I used one of those 9in1 CDs to install MCE.
