I know the PS2 is pretty much dead now, but is it possible that more chips will come out? (crystal chip 3.0? DMS5? Matrix ultimatey 3 red lights? XDDD)

it is possible that Crystal Chip or Matrix Infinity will. Not likely for the DMS4 Pro.

See they really do not need to make another chip, all they need to do is release newer flashes for the chip to add the features they want.
