I'm not sure what happened but when I went to play God of War 2 today I kept getting "This disk cannot be played" error. It was working just fine last week, not sure what happened.
It does this for every game I put in, even real ones, as well as DVD movies. I noticed that it boots from the swirls very quick, almost as soon as you see them and it did not do this before.
Also I can disable the modchip and it boots normal and I get the RSOD so I know it is reading the discs except for when I enable my modchip back on.

When I go into the toxic bios screen my settings are:

-Default Boot Mode: Normal
-ps2 video mode fix: off
-psx video fix: off
-atad auto patch: off
-skop ps2 logo: no
-display toxic logo: yes
-DVD+R DL support: enabled

Any Ideas??

P.S. I remember connecting a HDD to the back but I never got around setting it up ... just for info.
