ICO Pal version on NTSC?

Hello there! I have two copies of the PAL version of the ICO game, the original cardboard-box one and the release. I heard you're suppose to be able to play it on NTSC since it came with a selector, but my PS2s (I have an older one and one of the super-thin kinds) keep telling me to 'insert a playstation format disc.'

So, how do I get it to load, OR how do I patch this paticular game?

the selector means it will play on NTSC tv's porbly not NTSC consoles. You need a chip or SM disks
