Question about how to create an image from

Long story short, My FF7PC disk got scratched beyond recognition long long ago, so a few days ago I acquired another copy to replace my old one. It was made up of 4 folders (one for each disk) w/ a .uce, .ccd, .img and .sub file, unfortunantly, disk 2 had some corrupt movies.
My question is, how do i edit the .img file to place the correct movie files in to the image? (i have the movie files.)
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I am relativly new to this, i searched the guides and posts but couldn't find out how to do this. Any information would be great.

Try using CDMage and load the image file. Look over to the right of the program and you see see the entire directory of the image. Highlight them all and extract to a new folder then modify>burn slow .

Alright, i think i get it. I extracted all of the files to their own directory and modified the bad parts... but do i need to make it into an image again somehow?
I tried just burning the files onto a cd (using Nero 6) at 4x, but just ended up with a coaster.

Well if you wan't a certain type image after you burned you can use burnatonce (freebie) and read that image back to your hd. My question is what kind of file format are we dealing with here m8? MPEG1(VCD), MPEG2(SVCD) DivX(MPEG4)?

I'm slightly confused also... I think this is what you should be doing:
1. Grab CDMage and correct the cd image as you see fit
2. File --> Save As... give it a name
3. You can also check the file for corruption afterwards (open it again, Actions --> Scan for Corruption).

This tells me he has to "modify" the .img to place the "correct" movies". If no modification is needed, then he would go your route Praetor. We also have to take into account that CDMAge doesn't fix all corrupt images. We have the option to rebuild dataype structure but this doesn't work all the time.
This would be the more easy route to go (my opinion).

Ok now that ive read the post 3 times i understand lol! I was getting confused when i saw FF7PC (which would be a DataCD i think) and then something about movie cds hehe
