This have been asked over 1000 billion times so 1 more wont hurt ;-)
I have a PSP TA-082 2.71; after 3 hours I finally found/figured out how to downgrade it to 1.5 I have done so and installed DAXZISO_061.

However I cannot play a backup of my game Valkyrie Profile (.iso). I tried several modes and it doesn?t start (at point it says it cannot play at another its just a black screen)? I read that I might need to have UMD game inserted but it didn?t say anything in the README. Is it true?

Upgrade to custom firmware (easy installers are in mod and firmware discussion forum stickies) and forget about daxziso loader, that thing is OLD.
