Okay, I am using Breaker Pro to boot my games on my PS2. But when I put the CD-R in and press a button to boot it, it just hangs at the "Booting CD..." screen.

Now I know it can't be the game's files that are corrupt because I have used an emulator to test and see if they work.

I used Alchohol120% to burn the .CUE/.BIN files, that's all fine, since my DVD-RW/CD-RW can read the discs i put in it.(Memorex CD-R)I burn at 8x and can't go any lower with Alchohol120%. So, I have tried 3 different copies, 1 being a mistake because the files were burnt wrong, the second time having both the .CUE/.BIN files burnt, and then a third with trying to convert the .BIN to .ISO. Still didn't work.

I'm not very sure, but i'm guessing after reading about how crap Memorex is with DVD-Rs, i couldn't find any reviews on CD-Rs. The media could be my problem, and that's not fun because i just bought a 50 pack of Memorex without knowing like an idiot.

Anyway, I have noticed my PS2 also starting to skip with game originals but even stop reading DVD videos. Could this mean that this is also why it won't boot this game? Is my laser dying? I haven't attempted to go in and clean it either.

Please help, I'd like some opinions on my problem since I searched on google and even these forums and couldn't find anything close enough to my problem.
