Im trying to hook up my laptop to my tv.i bought a philips s-video cable.i can't get it to work.i don't know if i have the wrong cable or if im not doing to the tv right.the cable fits both tv and the laptop.im wanting to watch movies i have on my laptop on tv.i have vista if that makes a difference.thanks

If you have the right drivers installed (meaning, current video drivers not the ones that came with Vista)...then it should be as simple as going into the video properties, and selecting TV as the second monitor.
