Ok today i ogt my hd advance and my mem card exploit and all that good stuff installed. I am using a backed up copy of ps2 linux, in hd advance. But when I go to install, it asks for disk 2. Oh **** im thinking, but is there a way to "change disks" in hd advance or a similar solution?

any help would be valued!

Nope. Sorry. There is no multi disc support for HDLoader. For this your gonna have to get an inferior modchip.

No. You can't do it because it requires you to change discs, and that requires you to go to the menu again and select the 2nd part, but it won't work because by then the installation will be stopped and you will have to start over and it is pointless. And you can't stream stuff from computers on PS2 as far as i know.

If you have a single ISO or create one of it. why not just use winhiip to transfer the single large image to your HDD.

See if you can treat it as a dual layer disc.
Use ISO buster to extract the files from the ISO(s), then use cdvdgen to rebuild the files in the order they appear in ISO buster Part 1 files first part 2 files second, export an iml, then use imltoiso to create the single iso, now use winhiip to transfer the iso. Don't know if it will work, but maybe worth a try.

You would use ISO Buster to extract the contents of the ISO(s). Keep them separate ISO 1 = folder 1, ISO 2 = folder 2. Now open cdvdgen, choose create new project, DVD-ROM Master Disc, now drag and drop your files from your iso(s) in. Use the files form ISO 1 first then ISO 2. Drag them in in the order they appear in ISO Buster. Now select file from the top and choose export IML file. Choose destination. Now open imltoiso and load the iml file you just created. Sit back and let it make the ISO. Now trasnfer the iso to your HDD.

You should be able to find what's needed at sksapps.com Be sure to get the IML patch for cdvdgen1.5. Just use 1.5 not 2.0 I have had no luck with 2.0, but 1.5 does all I need it to and should be good for you as well
If you have trouble give me a hollar.
As I said before this may or may not work. Good luck.

ok I am having alot of trouble with this. The cdvdgen 1.5 executable wouldnt work, so I had to use the 2.0 version. Then it gave me a million too long filename errors. Then it gave me an internal error 21! This is pissing me off. oh and do you choose just master boot disk or the one that says master-boot disk [dual]. I asume it would be the latter. plz help me.

You want Master Boot Disc. Not Dual. I'm not sure on your problems cause I don't have the files to try myself and I have never done this with non game images. Just thought it may work for ya. Sorry if it gets ya to pissed, but with pain comes glory. Try finding cdvdgen 1.5 elsewhere may be a bad upload, but I would try to get that going first cause you will need the IML patch to negate the DVD5 disc size. I have not found one for 2.0 and it always gives me an error when trying to export an IML that is larger than a DVD5 can hold. Since you are essentially combining two DVD5 ISO's your overall size will be much larger than one DVD5 can hold and the program will give you an error, but when patched it ignores this size limit and creates your IML.
