why wait around to get banned? why not flash back to original bin and hope you still don't get banned. then wait for the new firmware to come out and proceed as if nothing ever happened.

Im Banned as of May 31, I fired up live for the first time last night.
Ive been leaving the wireless adapter unplugged for 3 weeks to avoid it; but boom live fails.
so im sol.

my theory is you paid for Live, why not use it while you can? If you unplug your cord then you pretty much paid for nothing because you don't have Live anyway. Plus if i get banned i won't really care all that Much,

I don't think it's just luck steimy. Samsung drive, with stealth firmware and stealth backups seem more like it to me. That brand new 360 I flashed with 5.3a after the banning began is still on Live after 9 days now. I've been playing a proper stealth copy of Crackdown for the last 2 days.

Technically you weren't banned 5/31. You just found out about it today. You obviously were already marked for banning before you unplugged.

why would i flash back to the orginal and not pklay any backups and get banned.

Also flashing back to original is a big mistake. Ms can see you have changed fingerprint. If it aint broke,dont try fix it

Technically you weren't banned 5/31. You just found out about it today. You obviously were already marked for banning before you unplugged.
im with memnock, sammy with stealth firmware and fully stealth games. but im not so sure about the stealth games because my copy of crackdown was a backup that wasnt stealth and i spent a week playing it online right after the bans started happening. but now with the new ix10 i think im safe for a while.

why do you say this? surely everyone is entitled to make a copy of their game that they just paiid £50 for! Whats the difference if you play a copy of the game or the original? Its not like you use it to cheat in the games.
& like mike, i also played my unstealthed crackdown online for a while and as of now I am still not banned. i have since upgraded to the ixtreme.

maybe it has to do with the different flashing process. i only ever use the mtkflash commands in dos. How do you flash yours Mike?

You're breaking the law reguardless (as I have as well), you just convince yourself you're not until you DO get caught. Then you go "What the hell happened?"

That's the point. We shouldn't pull the wool over these younger peoples eyes. They need to be taught that some shit is just wrong. That's the problem with the youth society today... They have no sense of morals. And I say this being a GenX'er (I'm only 28)
