I had a big ol' ps2 that i had swap magic-ed but after losing the swipe card I used pins and knives which I presume has scratched up the laser so I'm starting up on a slimline.

So I ask you what's best? Is it difficult? and how much would it cost? (Pounds please)

Magic Keys II and Swap Magic discs would be your cheapest option.

A good modchip, Like Matrix Infinity Green Dot, would be more expensive but work better all around. A store in the UK is http://www.ghost2fitter.co.uk/
145.99 for a V15 premodded console
24.99 for the Matrix Infinity chip
59.99 if you send your PS2 and have them just take a chip and install it. Really not a bad deal.
