Just wanted to let everyone know that staples.com is offering 10 packs of TDK dvd-r & dvd+r for only $15 with free shipping. Compare this to meritline.com offering the same at $33.90. If anyone knows anything about great brand of media, you'll know TDK is one of the best and compatible with almost any dvd console player. No I do not work for staples but I did just purchase 5 orders of the dvd-r's.

I just left Best Buy and noticed a sale for 25 pack of TDK's DVD-R's for $ 29.95. ($49.95 with a $20 instant instore rebate) I asked the saleperson and he stated that these were for the 4X and that they had a promotion for them, I checked there website and they are 2X. Unfortunately, because of the price they were out, maybe someone will luck out and find a store that still has some in stock. I don't know when the sale ends, but good luck!_

You're absolutley right Doom1234, I've purchased two ten packs of the DVD+R 4x and two ten packs of the DVD-R 2x. And for all of you that doubted him, yes! they are $14.95 for a pack of ten. And this is without any rebates.

Are these prices internet only, or offered in the stores too? I also so a Memorex 4x 4.7GB DVD-R, 25/Pack for $39.94.

In store and on the web. Its free shipping on the web so if you don't mind waiting a few days for them to come, it saves you a trip to the store.

Doom, you paid too much. I picked up these same TDK dvdr's for 1.20 each (29.99 for 25 pack at Best Buy). 30 cents isn't alot, but when you start multiplying it over dozens of discs it can end up being alot. It would have cost me $7.50 more to buy from staples.

jay33, you are one of the lucky few that are able to find the TDK'S at your locale Best Buy.
I don't know where you live but I live in Chicago, and I have not been able to find them yet.

All you have to do is get a raincheck or have them substitute, provided they are out of the discs on sale.
