for wiring in the ps2 can you use hot glue instead of soldering it and will the glue damage the ps2 if it is applied???

NO, you can only solder. If you hot glue it your not going to get the connection.

the hot glue u see on ther peoples installs it there to stop the wires ever coming off (not really needed)
