I had xbox live on my orginal xbox but then canceled after the first year. I just got a 360 and i want live. I found some wicked good deals on ebay but some say not for renewals. Is this true with all cards or is it just some. Or should i just use my credit card.

Don't buy stuff from ebay. Just go get a prepaid card at a local video game store and do it that way. If you use your credit card, remember that they auto-renew whatever you purchase unless you pick up the phone and tell them not to.

if your account has been canceled you have to get it activated again so you cant use a card, you have to call them and use a credit card.
