Pinnacle Instant Copy Error message

I have been using Pinnacle Instant V7 copy to back up DVD movies without any problems. However, each time I try to use to copy an unprotected disk or from the hard disk having used ddvdecryptor, Instant copy starts, but then aborts and displays a message: ?class not registered 80040154?
My first thought was to uninstall and re-install Instant copy and update again from Pinnacle?s web site. The site now seems to only carry updates for Version 8?
I have in fact ordered the upgrade to version 8 but don?t know if this will help.
Hope this isn?t a daft question

If you just want a copy of a backup you have already made or to burn files use Nero or other burning software - you don't need Pinnacle.
