i reflashed my sam drive with the new fw ixtreme fw 1.0 and then logged onto live and played about 3 hours onlive today and I havent been banned. this thread is for people to post if they have a sam and reflashed and are on live successfully.

im sure iXtreme 1.0 will hold out for a while....
untill micro$oft changes there detection techniques then C4E will have to create a new firmware to block them attempts aswell....

truth be told there is not a real way to judge if it is working or not. There are many people who have modded drives with a firmware previous to the new one who still have not been banned. I know everyone is just trying to figure all this out. But if in fact MS is keeping a list and banning people as they go through it then no matter what firmware you run you are already flagged and WILL be banned. I know people with Sammy drives and Xtreme 5.2 who have been on Live for 3-4 months with back up games and are still going strong. So 3hr is not a test of the new firmwares capabilities.
Only real test would be a person who has flashed a yet unmodded console. Then many months from now if everyone else is banned and that person is not, then and only then can you say it actually works.

Good point! But here is an fyi I just flashed a brand new 360 that was never modded with the new fw so we will see what will happend.

I flashed my NEW 360 last night for the first time using iXtreme and played online all night as well as this morning. So far so good.

well i have a hitachi 59D with 5.2 on it i havent even updated to 5.3
and have yet to be banned when i play burned games i just unplug the Ethernet and when i play originals i plug the ethernet back in..so i think that logging games things is wrong..

I like cheese.
On a related note, I just updated from 5.3 to 1.0 (5.3 was the first time it was modded). I also just modded a friends to 1.0 from stock, so we'll see if either of us gets banned.
I still like cheese.

nice to see nobody banned here always unplug ur connection when ur not playing on live and when ur playing on live i think its impossible for microsoft to find out because if u think about it, its downloadin voices, guns, people, firing i hate them damn standbyers on saints row does anybody here have it i will challenge u or u maybe able to join my gang ranked 259 in tha world

flashed the night ixtreme came out, i think it was thursday or maybe before, but have been online ever since, not banned. previously had x52b flashed, played a couple games that werent stealth and still not banned.
