ive tried to convert an AVI file to mp4 with xilisoft, after 40% it stops and says its completed. when i open the mp4 file the video is too fast, its done after about half of its original length. however the audio is fine, it goes with the same speed as the original but ends when the video ends.
i also tried to convert the same file to wmv and the same problem happened.

any help on this would be greatly appriciated

I had the same issue with xilisoft :( I started using the cucusoft trial version edited by ddp and its worked so far.
