Upgrade problem with Qoob Pro

I just upgraded my qoob pro v 1.3a and afterwards it booted one game, which was in PAL format, and it played fine. After that none of the discs that played before worked again including the one that just booted. It just says Disc Read Error. I upgraded by DVD as I do not have the USB cable setup on my cube. Anybody know how i can fix this?

I cannot load an old bios back to the gamecube cuz it will not read any disc at all.
