Help! 2 red flashing lights! Xbox 360

I have two red flashing lights on the left. Troubleshooting indicates over heating. I have followed all the directions, unplugged, cooled down, and so on. Problem is still there. Any suggestions?

do you still have your warrenty or did you open it up? you could send it back. when i got 2 red lights it was because my fan stopped working.

Warranty expired Jan 27. Go Figure! Never opened it. They have quoted me $140.00 to fix it.

Hi I had the 2 red lights as well, I only had to cool it off...
Make sure its not warm maybe you need to have an extra cooling system.

Here is a page I found with the 2 red lights solution, maybe it will help they also have some other solutions for different problem with the xbox 360.

that is what most people believe. keep the xbox as much in the open as possible and you should never have a problem. i have mine on the floor off to the side from the entertainment center.
