Do we need 480Mbps Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo on our PSP?

The slowest Black one, and the fast red one,

Duo/PRO Duo:

Transfer: 160 Mbit/s (20 MB/s)
Minimum write speed: 15 Mbit/s
Maximum write speed: 80 Mbit/s (High Speed PRO Duo)








and now, 480Mbps Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo






The question is, do we really need it?

I think the interface between Memory Stick and psp is quite limited,

even the old pro ones have a over kill speed

any one have some data for this please?
