Just modded a friends 1.2 xbox with the chamelon and solderless adaptor.. went fine the only thing is that it will only read RW discs.. i have ttried dvd-r dvd-rw and dvd+r amd +rw the only ones that work are the rws.... wtf is going on with it.. its got the samsung drive in it..

Samsung drives don't really like +R and RW disc's. You can find some that will load.
You should be able to find -R and RW's to load without problems.
