ARMAX Problems

Well, i downloaded ARMax EVO edition and when i booted it up with swap magic it didn't really work... but now that i got crystal chip 2.0 SLE i figured out how to boot up. But now i have problems cheating on games. Everytime that i boot up the USA version and try to cheat on KH2 (only game with cheates i have there) it dosen't boot up the game. I try using only one simple code it still dosen't work. What's going on?

Is the cheat disc NTSC or PAL?
Is the game NTSC or PAL
different codes for different regions.
Never used Evo or a back up copy of AR Max myself.

USA ARMAX for USA KH2 copy.

Well, the backup also came with a PAL version of ARMAX so i guess ill try alien hominid...
