well hi all, iam pretty new to this ps2 backupping and all and this forum really gave me much info about this all. Iam gonna get a swap magic with flip top cover for my PSTWO(mini,slim ps2) and i now know that the media of ur dvd matters when backupping ps2 dvds and i also heared that Verbatim is one of the best to backup ps2 dvds so i went searching around and finally found a store where they sell 5 peices of Verbatim dvds for ?6.99 (around $10) in the Netherlands, but i couldn't find Verbatim anywhere else in NL so i thought maybe this would be fake or something? iam not really sure of that cuz the store is quite big and trustable. But i thought i would ask it anyway so here goes...

How do real Verbatim dvds look like, i mean can u see it by a sign or anything like that ex: made in (country)

It is really appreciated if someone would help me with this, thanks in advance :).

oh yeah the Verbatim dvds iam going to buy are 5 peices DVD-R 16x Verbatims

really no way to tell unless te site lists the media ID (media code) of the disc like this site in the USA:

Verbatim discs are not known for having fakes out there. Taiyo Yuden is so those you have to buy at a reputable site. They are also not known to outsource their media like a lot of other companies. Outsourcing them causes you to never know what your getting since they are made by many different comanies, some of which are much better than others.
