I got my playstation to play iso's such as the mario game from skapps but when I try to backup my own so that I can have a list of them on my hard drive it does not load, could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I use DVD Decrypter to backup the disc
then I installed with USBExtreme to the usb hard drive
did not load.
I even tried repacking and replacing the IORP file with one from a game that did load.
Is the game called mario wars? if so. it can't be installed with USB Extreme just like that. USB EXTREME IS ONLY FOR INSTALLING NORMAL PS2 GAMES. NOT HOMEBREW. Also, alot of games aren't compatible.
I loaded Naruto Ultimate Ninja and Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi 2(PAL Version) successfully, but the DBZ was unplayable on my NTSC system, I tried converting from iso to bin then converting from PAL to NTSC with this NTSC to PAL converter, I recently got this PAL to NTSC iso converter so I will try this in a second. I have not attemtpted any other games so this DBZ game may be an unsupported one huh? I cant see how the PAL version works but not the NTSC. If anyone else is having this problem please give me suggestions.

Try the hardware backup forum? If your ISO works then it's not a DVD problem, sorry.
