Okay i dont udnerstand what im doing wrong , i have a backup of a soccer game on a Sony DVD+R, and using cogwap to try to load it. Im using a knife to move the pin back and forth and when i put the disc in and move it back, im pretty sure its all the way back, i press X to load and my ps2 just clicks alot and about 10 seconds later it stops
and it just stays on the cogswap screen.

any advice?

I never have used cogswap, are you will to try another app? also list the specs of your ps2, like if you have it modded or what not, wht version, etc..

I'm not sure what to do in this instance, i just use ARMAX and a memory stick to boot from a USB HD, but I'm just having problems loading my backup games after installing with USB Extreme. What is your PS2 doing funny with the loading of regualr cds? giving the insert playstation disc? if so you may want ot try the swap method with gameshark or similar disc.

Wait you're using DVD+R? NEVER USE DVD+R ON A FAT PS2.

Only use good DVD-Rs like sony's.

NO. RW media won't work well at all with PS2s. Use DVD-Rs from sony or verbatim or taiyo yuden. And as far as i know cogswap lodas DVDs.

What game is it and how big is it? You can try using a different loader such as Swap Magic, you get them at http://orthogonl.byethost9.com in the /elf folder
