ISO on 3.40 OE-A

i have finaly flashed the 3.40 OE-A soft for psp i behind i no but bare with it i have put the iso files in the right places and stuff but when i run one or two they seem to freez up.
is this a common problem?
or is it just the iso files that i am useing?
the iso are all dumps from umd there is no ps1/psx
ta for reading this and thanks for any help you can provide me with
