When I use a program to convert my PS1 game, I get this as an extra file. What is it's function?

PSP Lifespan
2.8-->3.40-->2.0(traded PSP with friend lol)-->1.5-->3.03 OE-C-->3.40 OE-A

keys.bin is a file that is associated with a laegit sony psxpsp game, in this case hot shots golf. It makes the psp think that your game is an official game put out by Sony. If you use a OE higher then 3.03 you dont need it.

That's odd, I use 3.03 OE-C and I don't use keys.bin files with my eboots.

Ok, so then keys.bin is worthless to me. Thanks for taking some of your time to answer my question, svtstang :)
