hey guys, i use an irc and dload software sometimes, and was wondering how to ge them to work, because they download as RaR file...and when u unrar them they just turn into a bunch of random files..someone was saying i needed to do something with the.bin and .cue files, but can anyone give me some more advice or help??
1. RAR files need to be extracted using WinRAR. Sometimes you will get a mass collective of 001, 002 and so on files. These can all be opened with WinRAR and extracted. In many cases, BIN/CUEs are compressed in a nested fashion. COntinue extracting them until you have one or two files that are ~700MB
thanks, that should help, but sometimes is it possible to have many .bin and .cue files? because once i extracted the original archive of one program i have, there were like 10 or 15 more that needed to be extracted, but they all contained the same .bin and .cue files? how do i dea with that kind of thing..?
sorry about all the questions, im new to this whole topic, but what program should i use to burn the .cue and .bin to cd and what r the steps to do it? im way lost

Yes a lot of the time the BIN/CUEs are compressed and then compressed again and sometimes again.. keep extracting until you have just the BIN/CUE and possibly NFO files.
CloneCd and Alcohol 120% let you have lots of virtual cd drives. If you mount the bin/cue/image file in there and play it in a dvd player, then you can save yourself a Cd-r if the quality is bad. I've stoped downloading SVCDs the quality is just useless. I'm going to stick with divx/xvid :)
