You need to give way more info than that. Read your Guides for your ANALOG devices, they should have Diagrams there.

What Devices are you tryng to connect and to what?

I have pics I can post that I have made for previous questions like this. But like Berryone asked what type of device are you trying to connect? What type of outputs does the device have?

It would be good if we could see all your pics. Basically I would like to see a variety so that some members can see what best gadget to get.

Tha main thing is that for example we can see the back of the units
connected up with scart cables, s-video cables, and other video cables
on the back of a canopus capturing device to your VRC and also not all
Televisions have just the basic 3 rca sockets.

is this the canopus card or a different one ?
What model is it ?

Is this a 2 in one ? meaning it has main graphics on it ?
Do u know if all VCR players are suppose to have S-video ?
I have a combo VCR/dvd recorder ,but the s-video that comes out, only
makes output for the DVD player not the vcr player.

I suppose if it did, that would have made capturing from vcr too easy.
Have you heard of this card
Marvel G450e-TV

its suppose to have capturing function from a vcr ,but when I view
a pic of it ,all I see 2 ports for monitors, not the 2 or 3 rca
connectors you would expect.

Most VCR's output via component cables (red, yellow, and white). To connect these to a video capture card you commonly are given/have a cable similar to this one...

On this you have your S-Video In and Component video inputs and its all fed through the cable to a S-Videa Input on your capture card.

Honestly I haven't but I haven't real been paying attention to the video capture card market lately. But I do still highly recommend this card...
