hi i cant get my swap magic coder dvd disk to work it works fine but when i go to load a game it goes tothe memory card section does any one know what to do[
Do you have any method of modification of the sorts? If you're trying to boot a burnt copy of Swap Magic, it won't work unless you had Swap Magic itself, a mod-chip, the use of exploits or whatever else before you can run it. If you do happen to have an authentic copy of Swap Magic, the disc with multiple circular rings, then what PS2 are you trying to play on exactly?
If you're using a fat PS2, you would either require the use of a slide card so you can pull and push the PS2's disc tray when Swap Magic asks for a swap without your PS2 detecting the swap unlike simply pushing the eject/power button where the PS2 will detect it's opening or order a custom flip-top cover so you can do a simple swap featured in the slimline and as shown on the slim PS2s.
If you have a slim PS2, you need to get the use of either the magic keys you can purchase along with a copy of Swap Magic or using the tissue and tape mod listed here.
Also, if you have done everything mentioned from my previous inquiry, what media brand are you using exactly or what game are you trying to play?
Don't forget, the Swap Magic DVD disc is used to boot up PS2 DVD games, the ones with the clear silver on its data, and the Swap Magic CD disc is for PS2 CD-based games, the ones with a blue-colored side. Have you had any problems before booting any DVD related disc before? Whether it's a DVD movie or a PS2 DVD game, if you had problems booting those type of disc before, you might either need to clean your laser, get a laser replacement if your PS2's laser is quite old and worn out or try adjusting the height of the laser if you have a fat PS2.
