okay i just got 3.400e-a and tried to load my iso but it says the game can not be started please help and thank you

yes i have done everything possible.

however are there any special settings in the recovery mode

every time i run the game it brings up a black screen
and freezes the psp

Hmm...I never needed a UMD in my disc drive when playing PS1 games.

Anyway, what program do you use to convert your PS1 ISO/IMG/BIN files? That might have something to do with it. I use PSX2PSP and I've never had a problem with it.

eh? who mentioned ps1 games?

go in to recovery, configerations and make sure no-umd is disabled.
the umd must be a game or demo.

okay i tried that and went to load the game and it still gave me a black screen and froze the psp

maybe that game your trying to load is bad. try a different ISO.
