I am having what seems to be a search engine pop up on its own. At the top of the page it says Vytukas.com. In the address bar it says searchportal...... not sure about the rest. It seems to pop up when I am away from my computer for more than a few minutes and I have no idea where it came from, where it is in my PC, or how to get rid of it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

You can fix those and see if the toolbar dissappears. If it doesnt, have you tried going into add or remove programs, finding it and then removing it?

it seems to be an old virus payload site no longer active. I would update my A\V or scan with another one as something may still be active on your machine. This one uses hiding technology to remain onboard.

I deleted the one line that was agreed to be bad in the hijack this program. I looked on the virus finder site and I can't seem to find the correct folders for the type of virus that they are talking about. I am downloading a trial version of the kapersky anti-virus and we'll see what happens. If it is still there I will bother you all some more. Thanks
