A lot of new folks at this forum (myself included) have questioned which emulators are the best. According to MY experience, I have found that this batch have the fewest problems and can run full speed:
gpsp (GBA emulator) [Doom II runs v e r y slow]
Snesx9 TYL 1.4.2me (SNES emulator) [Doom runs v e r y slow]
DGEN (Genesis/Megadrive emulator)
NesterJ (NES emulator) [Rad Racer horizon glitch, still playable]
As far as N64 emulation goes, it's progressing. Mario 64 is playable, though still slow. Google Daedalus R11 if you want to try it out.
For PS1 emulation, I use PSX2PSP v1.2 to convert ISO/IMG/BIN files.
I hope my mini-guide has proven helpful for those who want to know what the best emulators out there are. I have come a long way since getting my PSP May 28th, and through toilsome trial-and-error I discovered the best emulators.
Oh, and for those who wish to change their gameboot, don't fool around with flash0. Use this guide:
