While I know there are threads about modded ps2s and such, I haven't found the exact information I need. So here it be.

I have a fat ps2, with a network adapter, an ide 250gb hd, and action replay max. With all of these, can I have play games off the hd without hd loader or hd advance? if so, help is always appreciated. thx.

with a fat PS2 you need one of two things
1. buy HD loader/HD Advanced discs
2. do an HD Loader memory card exploit which is free
i would link you to the site that has exploit information but it seems it is down, possibly for good. So you need to do a search.
