I have a PSP with 3.11 firmware. I don't even think there will be a downgrade anytime soon for 3.11, since there isn't one for 3.10 yet. I am wondering what the best modchip is for my PSP and if I have this modchip will it let me downgrade to 1.5 and then upgrade to OE?

the platinum diluted is whats hot right now but very spendy-your best bet is to trade yours for one with lower firmware, or just buy one used or something-it would be way cheaper

I was taking a look at that modchip, looks very nice. I watched a couple of videos on the installation and I think I might have to practice soldering as I have never soldered before. I have welded, but not soldered. Also I know how you have to scratch the tracks, do I need a microscope for that, because I am very nervous about ruining it because it looks good with the naked eye.

btw there IS a downgrade for 3.10, and an exploit for the 3.11 firmware has been found, so expect a 3.11 downgrader soon.

for 3.10 i think if u use GTA LCS you can downgrade to 2.71 and from there you can go to 1.5.

I want this modchip because if I totally brick it, I can recover it. I wonder if anyone has used the 3.10 downgrader for 3.11 :)
