Can PSP v2.81 be downgraded to v1.5?

Hi folks, i have a psp v2.81, can i downgrade that to v1.5 i am new at this stuff

upgrade to 3.03 and then downgrade to 1.5
to downgrade from 3.03 you need the original umd of the unpatched version of Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories.
The unpatched version of the game contains the 2.0 update
