I have with me a modded PS2, and I am trying to burn Guitarfreaks and Drummania V2 onto a DVD to play it.
1. I have a modded PS2.
2. I am using DVD Decrypter to burn it (writing an ISO)
3. I have the ISO file
4. I am using DVDs.
The problem here is whenever I burn it, everything goes well, and then I pop it into the PS2, and it doesn't load. I have tried this with several CDs, such as Verbatim, and Sony. Note that these were DVD-RWs. Both do not work and it just says it can't read the disc.
Never use DVD-RWs for burning games. They just screw up your lens as i heard. Use DVD-R.
And make sure you use quallity media. And what chip do you have?
I actually have no idea :( cause I didn't actually get it modded myself.
I'm sure it's modded though, because Guitarfreaks V runs perfectly on it, and the disc is just plain white with the title, which clearly shows it isn't a real game.
Yeah DVD-RW rarely works, even if you've got other games to work with them it doesn't mean all games will work with them (I hit that snag when too when I first started out).
