DVDX copied movie to be read on audiovox dvd player

I can copy movies and play them just fine on all my DVD players except the one I really wanted. My audiovox portable DVD player. It will not read it. Do I need to burn it differently? Does anyone know? Help!
That the whole reason I bought the program was to be able to take copies with me on trips and not the originals.

You think maybe it can't play copied DVD's? I was hoping that it was just a format problem. It will play mp4's just fine. I have copied serveral home movies and it plays them.

DVDx can't copy a movie actually, it can only rip and convert into mpeg or divx. I'm wondering if you burnt the mpeg or divx onto a dvd-r as data. Some standalones will play those, but your handy dandy portable may not.

My suggestion is to rewrite your question, so that what you have, use, and the results are more clear. In your 2 posts you contradict yourself on whether or not the audiovox can play movies you've burnt. In your first post you sed it can't, then in your second post you sed it can.
