hi since yesterday when i play any games on my pc after20 - 30 mins the fuse in my plug 4 the pc blows ive tried a new cable but same thing happens only when playing games it does not happen if im just using my pc ie for internet or anything else just games that ive played b4 this problem started please advise what to do thanks

lol that suck. one of my friends went through that too. but his situation was so bad that he was forced to get a new mother board and new power supply. u might want to try and get a new power supply and like nicklt said buy a surge protecter

I have no idea what could cause that, but before you buy anything you should open your pc and use 'Dust off' or the like to remove any dust from the case, lmao you could even vacuum it out (Thats what I do) but you want to make sure you get the all the fans, and the space in between your heatsink and heatsink fan as that is where A LOT of the dust is. If this doesn't solve your problem, try a new PSU.

niicht, the reason that my friends pc was fried because he had it plugged into the wall with out a surge protector and the there was a black out which cause the circuits to burn out or something.

His use of 'when' means it is happening continually, not that it just happened once. Also, if it works when he is doing things other than gaming, it cannot be a problem with a non-surge protected board.
