I can get cb to boot and run fine on the originals,wich obviously isnt the problem.I backup all my games and play the backups and put my originals in storage,yes it's silly but I have too many ruined disks to not do so.So it isn't a huge problem because I can use the originals,but I do remember theyre being a trick to getting the cheats to work with a backup game.Yes my CB is retail,my DMS3 firmware is currently 2.4 B4.It's just I don't want to have to go to the storage everytime I get stuck on a game and need a little help.I've searched around,but it seems everything out now is about using memory cards,usb drives or the internal harddrive wich my ps2 doesnt have,so I figured what the heck why not just ask.Any help will be greatly appreciated.I'm thinking my problem might not just be my memory of not remembering the trick and maybe more to do with an ageing and finicky ps2.
