Okay, so I never realized how many problems people were having with this device until I started having my own. I got it in the mail today and I've been trying to install it on my old crapbox computer, but it refuses to do so. I'm running 98SE which is supposed to be compatible. The problems comes when I try to install the drivers. The drivers are there, but it says that it's missing the file:" ZD11BU98.sys" is can't be found. The program included on the disc called ZDWLAN won't even open. It opens and closes right back out. Any help would be much appreciated. When I look at the devices profile under the control panel, it says that the device is already installed, but has "a problem". I can't get the driver to fully install. Please help because I'm pretty much at a loss.

Go to www.airlink101.com.

Find the drivers for the AWL3055 adapter and d/l them.

Run the install Should bring that ZD 1211 chip right up.
I had an AWL3026 that would install fine on XP, but 98 or ME,
no dice. Used the 3055 drivers, worked fine.

If you can find an AWL3055, it's larger than the 3026 device, but
has a 10db gain antenna attached to it. Can pull in access points
from 5 blocks.
