GTAVCS on a 2.60 PSP?

Okay, so I am getting a Playstation Portable this week. It's a 2.60 one. I'm also getting Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories along with it. Will VCS work on a 2.60FW PSP? I'm planning on going to 3.40OE-A later, but I'm quite afraid to downgrade just yet, prolly gonna go to a friend who's good at all that stuff.

So, would it work? Also, what's the best way to go from 2.6 to 3.40OE-A? 2.60 > 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.40OE-A?

yea i think GTA VSC is 2.60 but im not sure. the best way to get from 2.60 to 3.40 OE-A would be 2.60-2.80-1.50-3.40 OE-A

By the way, about going to 2.80. Doesn't it require you to have a copy of GTALCS when downgrading to 1.5?

yea, the 2.80 downgrader uses the TIFF exploit which is when u go into the photo section on ur psp and it installs HEN to ur PSP then u can downgrade to 1.50 then up to 3.40 OE-A or whatev CFW u want. u DONT need GTA or someone with a 1.50 psp or anything. Plus it works on all PSP mobo's
