I use kazaa and other file sharing programs but im newbie at dc++. I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some hub addresses to access or how to get one. I have over 8gb sharing so there shouldn't be a worry about filesize limitations (hopefully). Thanks for any help

Try this link : http://www.dslreports.com/faq/8189
It has a link off it to a hub list page, but it seems broken a lot, this page gives you about 5 you could try.
Last time I Used DC++ there were a lot of hubs that required 10GB min, some a hell of a lot more, but there are plenty with small limits. DC++ in my experience was and probably still is one of the best and infinately better than Kazza, Good luck and I hope it helps.

Thanx, I found myself my own config list for new zealand now but im still having trouble getting user's file lists. I click for it and the status just stays at connecting forever. What should I do? I have a 56k modem, is that a problem?...

Modem shouldnt be a problem, if they have let you in the hub then they have no restrictions in that respect, are you behind a firewall? is the person you are trying to get the list off also behind a firewall? ufortunately 2 users behind firewalls cannot share lists, unless you set up port forwards. Does it happen on all users lists?

I have solved my problem now by changing my settings to passive as I do have a firewall. Things are working ok now, thanks for the help =)
